Novell ZENworks Configuration Management 11.3Situation
When trying to use RDP to remotely access a Windows Server 2008 or
Windows Server 2012 device, at some point, the session will
crash.
The following could be seen in the Application Event Viewer:
Application Name: mstsc.exe
Fault Module Name: ZenNotify.dll_unloaded
The following could be seen in the Application Event Viewer:
Application Name: mstsc.exe
Fault Module Name: ZenNotify.dll_unloaded
Resolution
This is fixed in version 11.3.1 - see KB 7015288 "ZENworks

Workaround:
Test if the crash is avoided after adding the following switch to the default.rdp file and restarting the 'Novell ZENworks Agent Service' service:
enablecredsspsupport:i:0
Does it go straight to the Novell login prompt, instead of first bringing up the rdp login prompt? If yes, it is expected to be this issue and fix.
Workaround:

Does it go straight to the Novell login prompt, instead of first bringing up the rdp login prompt? If yes, it is expected to be this issue and fix.

Workarounds in KB 7009593 do not prevent the crash.
