Situation

What is the difference between Tape (*.tar) and Portable Archive. In Reload, I have a Tape - Configure Tape Backup (TAR Portable Backups) Jobs option, and I can "Archive" my portables.

Resolution

The Tape option creates a tarball of a Portable backup directory. Archive places a copy of a Portable backup directory in a specified location.
