For devices that have already been upgraded to ZCM 11.2.1 or for new devices which will have the ZCM 11.2.1 agent installed: a fix for this issue (which should ensure that the problem does not re-occur when upgrading) is intended to be included in a future update to the product: however, in the interim, Novell has made a Patch available for testing, as part of a Monthly patch update: it can be obtained at https://download.novell.com/Download?buildid=zKIz21tONFg~ as "ZCM 11.2.1 Monthly Update 2 - see TID 7010729". This Patch has had limited testing, and should not be used in a production system without first being checked in a test environment. - Stop the RemoteManagement Service.
- Kill the nzrWinVNCApp.exe if it is running (this process is not there on WinXP)
- Do the upgrade.
- Restart the Remote Management service.
