Environment

Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with Support Pack 1 - 10.1 Bundles
Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with Support Pack 1 - 10.1 Zman
Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with Support Pack 1 - 10.2 Bundles
Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with Support Pack 1 - 10.2 Zman
Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with Support Pack 1 - 10.3 Bundles
Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with Support Pack 1 - 10.3 Zman

Situation

When copying a bundle using
zman bcp (bundle-copy)
or exporting a bundle using
zman betf (bundle-export-to-file)
The result does not contain any System Variables defined for the source bundle

Resolution

With ZCM 10.3 onwards, Bundle Settings are copied using
  zman bscp
(bundle-settings-copy) and exported using
  zman
bsetf
(
bundle-settings-export-to-file)
see "ZENworks Command Line Utilities" at https://www.novell.com/documentation/zcm10/zcm10_utils/data/b74pt40.html

For versions previous to 10.3:
For zman bcp: This is fixed in version 10.2.1 - see KB 7003766 "ZENworks 10 Configuration Management 10.2.1 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support

For zman betf: This is fixed in version 10.2.2 - see KB 7004803 "ZENworks 10 Configuration Management 10.2.2 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support

Workaround: Use ZCC to copy the bundle

Additional Information

Copying a bundle using ZCC does copy the System Variables, from version 10.0.1 onwards (see TID 3058158 - System variables are not copied when copying a bundle)
