Using Screen History

Applies to Reflection Desktop, Reflection 2014, and Reflection 2011

You can find data in host screens that you've already visited by browsing or searching Screen History.

You can quickly find data in hosts screens that you have already visited by using Screen History.

Screen History keeps a record of all the information on each screen you visit, including all of the data that you enter. This allows you to browse or search for the data without having to navigate back through the screens.

Display the screen history for the session by clicking the Screen History button on the session tab of the ribbon.

As you navigate through screens they appear in the screen history pane.

Now let's say that you need to get a customer's name from a screen that you have already visited. 
Rather than navigating back to it from wherever you are in your program, you can scroll through the screen history pane and when you find a screen has the data, click it to display in the main session window.

Or you can search the screen history for the data.

The search results appear below the terminal window so that you can move quickly to the screen that has the data you need.

After you find the data, click Live Screen to leave the screen history and go back to the screen you are on.
