GroupWise Mobility Server able to send but not receive

Environment

GroupWise Mobility Service 18

Situation

Users are able to send mail from mobile device successfully.

Users mobile devices are not updating with new items unless a Re-Initialize User is performed.

Users show synced in the admin console.

The GroupWise POA log will show an error 8908 - Cannot use TCP/IP services Source when trying to communicate with the GMS IP Address.

Resolution

The GMS server is inside the DMZ and not all of the listed ports were opened in the firewall to allow proper communications.
