** Windows 10 "Windows as a Service" Support Statement. Extra! X-treme is supported on the following editions of Windows 10:
Windows 10 Pro and Windows 10 Enterprise. Extra! X-treme is supported
on the in-market supported servicing branches (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/release-info.aspx ) of Windows 10 including: Current Branch, Current Branch for Business, and Long-Term Servicing branches.
*** Windows 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft, but Extra! X-treme 9.6 should work on Windows 7. Micro Focus provides Customer Support to maintained customers on Micro Focus client desktop products that are being run on supported operating systems and meet the criteria in the Product Support Lifecycle. If an issue does occur on Windows 7, Micro Focus Customer Support will work to isolate the cause of the problem and may ask you to duplicate the issue in a currently supported operating system environment. If we believe that the cause of the problem is in the hardware or operating system layer of the environment and does not occur outside the environment, we may direct you to your operating system vendor for technical support.

Note the following:
- Using Extra! X-treme in multi-user mode requires one
of the following applications (and adherence to the terms of the license
agreement):
- Windows Server 2019, 2016, 2012, or 2008 Remote Desktop (Windows Terminal Services)
- Extra! X-treme is supported only on Citrix versions currently supported by Citrix at the time of the Extra! release.
Using Extra! Help
Starting with Extra! X-treme 9.6, the Help files which ship with the product have been converted to HTML format, and will now launch in an Internet Browser window.
To view the Extra! Help Update, an Internet browser (and Internet
connection) is required.
To view the legacy Extra! X-treme 9.5 and earlier Help, on Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, or Windows Server 2008, you must install the Windows Help program (WinHlp32.exe), which is available for download from the Microsoft web site. For more information, see https://support.microfocus.com/kb/doc.php?id=7021283. Note: Beginning with Windows Server 2012, WinHlp32.exe is not available, so legacy Help is not supported.
