Environment

Reload

Situation

The Reload terminal menu does not load after clicking the icon. The Reload terminal menu does not load after typing “reload” into a terminal menu.

Resolution

There could be several reasons why the menu can fail to load. The most common reason would be when the partition Reload is installed on is out of disk space.

If there is no disk space available, then Linux will not be able to load the program. Space will need to be cleared before the problem can be corrected.

Another reason could be that the icon link is broken. To recreate the icon, please refer to this article: How to Install the Reload Administration Desktop Icons.

The start-up scripts for Reload may have been corrupted. To reinstall them, follow the steps in this article: How to Revert Reload to Factory Defaults.

If none of these options work, then contact support.
