Resolution

This is fixed in version 11.4 - see KB 7016614 "ZENworks Configuration Management 11 SP4 (11.4.0) - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://support.microfocus.com/kb/doc.php?id=7016614

Workaround

Depending on the version of ZCM, edit one of the following files
  • Windows
    • %ZENworks_Home%\conf\preboot\zenimgweb.conf
    • %ZENworks_Home%\conf\preboot\novell-zenimgweb.conf
  • Linux
    • /etc/opt/novell/zenworks/preboot/zenimgweb.conf
    • /etc/opt/novell/zenworks/preboot/novell-zenimgweb.conf
  • Add the  switch
    • FORCEHTTP=forced
  • Restart the Novell ZENworks Preboot Service (novell-pbserv)
