Situation

  • Error in zmd-messages.log:  Unexpected exception processing action IN (handler Novell.Zenworks.ActionManager.StandaloneHandlerHandler) at Novell.Zenworks.ActionManager.CachedFileSet.GetTempDir()
  • ENGL Build process loops
  • Slow network
  • Bundle fails to install

Resolution

This is fixed in version 11.3.2 - see KB 7015776 "ZENworks Configuration Management 11.3.2 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://support.microfocus.com/kb/doc.php?id=7015776
 
Workaround:  Ensure adequate network speed/bandwidth.

Cause

The User Daemon starts before the Windows service remote client and server registration so the User Daemon fails to register.
