Recurring Daily Schedule launches one week into the future

Novell ZENworks Configuration Management 11.3
Novell ZENworks Configuration Management 11.2

Situation

Since 11.2 bundles with a schedule for Recurring/Days of Week start time where next start time is less than 14 hours will come due with a schedule of start time plus one week.

Example (from zmd-messages.log):

 [Scheduler -- DailySchedule: The initial due time is: Thursday, April 17, 2014 3:15:00 AM]

When the next due is really one week prior as assignment was first seen on April 9.


Resolution

This is fixed in version 11.3.1 - see KB 7015288 "ZENworks Configuration Management 11.3.1 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https:// www.novell.com/support/search.do?usemicrosite=true&searchString=7015288
