"Copy If Different" on a Linux platform does not copy the file, if the destination file does not already exist

Environment

Novell ZENworks Configuration Management 11.2 Bundles

Situation

In a Windows bundle, the setting "Copy If Different" for "Install File(s)" and "Copy File(s)" actions will result in the new file being installed/copied if the destination file is different, or does not exist. In a Linux bundle, the new file will only be installed/copied if the destination file already exists, and is different.

Resolution

This is fixed in version 11.3 - see KB 7014213 "ZENworks Configuration Management 11.3 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://support.microfocus.com/kb/doc.php?id=7014213
