Connection to server failed from device after account is added

Able to add account on device. When Inbox is opened on device, the following error is displayed:
Connection to server failed.
Able to authenticate account from device, but fails to connect on sync.
/var/log/datasync/connectors/default.pipeline1.mobility-AppInterface.log displays the following:

• Authenticating to GroupWise as user <userID>
• _getFolderHierarchySyncKey Exception: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'syncKey'
• _storeFolderHierarchySyncKey Exception: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'syncKey'
• No folder list returned
