tg3 network driver does not load on Dell Latitude 2120 or Optiplex 380

Using Imaging drivers from August, September or October 2012 updates, or ZCM 11.2.1 MU2 or ZCM 11.2.2

tg3 NIC driver fails to load during imaging on Dell Latitude 2120 and Dell Optiplex 380 (these use a Broadcom NIC that uses the tg3 driver: any other devices which use this driver may also be affected)

This is also fixed in version 11.2.3 - see KB 7011295 "ZENworks Configuration Management 11.2.3 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://support.microfocus.com/kb/doc.php?id=7011295

Workaround: if it is not possible to upgrade to ZCM 11.2.3 at this time, in the interim, Novell has made a Patch available for testing, as part of a Monthly patch update: it can be obtained at https://download.novell.com/Download?buildid=QA0w58MMJWo~ as "ZCM 11.2.2 Monthly Update 1 - see TID 7010464". This update should only be applied if the symptoms above are being experienced, and are causing problems.
