Can't delete Patch Signature in ZCC

Novell ZENworks Configuration Management

Situation

Can't delete a patch from Patches view when there are custom remediation bundles associated.
 
ERROR (in zcc.log):
 
Error While enabling signatures

Resolution

This is fixed in version 11.2.3a - see KB 7011295 "ZENworks Configuration Management 11.2.3a - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://support.microfocus.com/kb/doc.php?id=7011295
 
Workaround:
 
Delete any ZPM remediation bundles referencing this patch first.  Then delete the patch.

Additional Information

If only one zpm created bundle is associated it typically will succeed.
 
Example:
 
MS12-050 Security Update for Microsoft InfoPath 2010 32-Bit Edition (KB 2553431)
 
Has only one associated bundle created by zpm:  MS12-050 Security Update for Microsoft InfoPath 2010 32-Bit Edition (KB 2553431)1357597743
 
Delete signature typically will succeed.
 
But if the zpm created bundle is referenced by a admin created remediation bundle, the delete signature fails.
