Unable to Modify an Existing Variable to Prepend

Novell ZENworks Configuration Management 11.1 Bundles

Situation

When modifying a Launch Executable action's environment variable's list, it is not possible to change an existing variable to prepend.  It looks successful until checking the action and the setting is no longer there.

Resolution

This is fixed in version 11.2.1 - see KB 7010042 "ZENworks Configuration Management 11.2.1 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://support.microfocus.com/kb/doc.php?id=7010042

Steps to reproduce
  1. Create a Bundle
  2. Create a Launch action "Launch Executable"
  3. Add a dummy command and add an Environment Variable to this action (select to append)
  4. Save and Apply this
  5. Go back in to the action and edit the variable
  6. Change it to Prepend (from append)
  7. Save it
  8. Go back in to the Launch Action and edit the environment variable
  9. The "add to existing data" is no longer selected but should stay as set
