Novell ZENworks 11 Configuration Management Registration
Situation
Agent configured to communicate with server via proxy:
# zac set-pref proxy-host <PROXY_IP/DNS>
# zac set-pref proxy-port <PROXY_PORT>
Registration performed with command:
# zac reg http://<SERVER_IP/DNS> -u <ADMINISTRATOR> -p <PASSWORD>
fails with error:
Unable to register with the server at: <SERVER_IP/DNS>.
The root certificate returned by the server is not trusted.
Error processing the ZAC command.
Resolution
This is fixed in version 11.1 - see KB 7008746 "ZENworks Configuration Management 11.1 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
