Cannot launch bundles via their icon

Environment

Novell ZENworks 11 Configuration Management Bundles
Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with Support Pack 3 - 10.3 Bundles

Situation

Bundle does not launch when icon is double-clicked
 
Bundle does not launch when right-clicking icon and choosing "Open "
 
Many bundles (50+) are scheduled to launch at "user login " event; these bundles have "wait for action to complete " flag set for some actions
 
Bundle can be launched using "zac bln " command

Resolution

For ZCM 10.3: This is fixed in version 10.3.2 - see KB 7007237 "ZENworks Configuration Management 10.3.2 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
 
For ZCM 11: This is fixed in version 11.1 - see KB 7008746 "ZENworks Configuration Management 11.1 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
 
Workaround:
  1. Reduce the number of bundles that are launched at user login
  2. For bundles that must launch at this time, ensure that "wait for action to complete " is only set when absolutely necessary

Additional Information

All of the scheduled bundles were being launched simultaneously, and using separate threads, which meant that the thread pool was exhausted. The new fix introduces a scheduler to start the scheduled bundles one at a time
