Windows 7/Vista Remote Control session is terminated if a bundle is launched that runs as Dynamic Administrator

Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with Support Pack 3 - 10.3 Remote Management

Situation

  1. Remote Control session established with Windows 7 or Windows Vista PC
  2. Bundle is launched on target machine which is set to run as a "Dynamic Administrator "
  3. "Interactive Services Detection " screen appears, minimized
  4. Click on the flashing icon for the "Interactive Services Detection " screen , then click "view the message "
  5. Remote Control session is terminated

Resolution

This is fixed in version 10.3.1 - see KB 7006265 "ZENworks Configuration Management 10.3.1 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
