Environment

Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with Support Pack 3 - 10.3

Situation

Using the L4 switch definition from the default server rules, leads to connection error.
ERROR: From the zmd-messages.log [DEBUG] [10/05/2009 12:12:21.408] [27074] [ZenLinuxDaemon][14][ConnectMan-ping][Could not connect to:https://192.168.0.10/zenworks-ping/, status: ConnectFailure]

Resolution

This is fixed in version 10.3.1 - see KB 7006265 "ZENworks Configuration Management 10.3.1 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
Workaround: Configure server rules in place of the L4 switch definition.
