After re-registration some Windows 7 or Vista devices with Update Root Certificates lose connection

Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management

Situation

On original install and registration, the ZENworks server certificate is written to the Trusted Root Authorities of the certificate manager on the registered device.
 
But only after manual re-registration, the certificate is written to the Third Party Trusted Certificates instead.  This latter location will be a problem if  "Update Root Certificates " is enabled.

Resolution

This is fixed in version 10.3.1 - see KB 7006265 "ZENworks Configuration Management 10.3.1 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
