Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with Support Pack 3 - 10.3 Bundles
Situation
When creating the first Windows MSI bundle and selecting the UNC path option, the parameters for msiexec auto-populate after selecting the MSI.
On subsequent bundles built using the UNC path option the parameters for msiexec do not auto-populate.
On subsequent bundles built using the UNC path option the parameters for msiexec do not auto-populate.
Resolution
This is fixed in version 10.3.1 - see KB 7006265 "ZENworks Configuration Management 10.3.1 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
Workaround:
1- Select the option to use a UNC path, but do not browse to the MSI yet.
2- Select the link to the install parameters dialog box, do not make any changes just click on the OK button.
3- Click on the UNC path browse button and select the MSI to be used, then click the Open button.
The information auto-populates if this sequence is followed.
