Inventory Database Tables are not being Cleared

Novell ZENworks 7.2 Linux Management - ZLM7.2

Situation

Deleting a device object from the ZLM Managed Zone is not removing all the associated information from the relevant inventory tables.This can lead to a large increase in the table entries and overall database size.

Resolution

To obtain access to a hot patch with the fix for this problem, follow the instructions in KB 3469853 "Updates to Novell ZENworks 7.2 Linux Management" which can be found athttps://www.novell.com/support
