Dynamic group query for test device returns all devices

Environment

Novell ZENworks 11 Configuration Management Support Pack 2 - ZCM 11 SP2

Situation

Set up a dynamic device group with criteria for Device - is Test = Yes returns all devices when none is set to test.

Resolution

This is fixed in version 11.2.1 - see KB 7010042 "ZENworks Configuration Management 11.21 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://support.microfocus.com/kb/doc.php?id=7010042 

Workaround:
  1. To return all Test devices:
    Leave the 'NOT' Criteria blank.
    Set 'Device - is Test' 'Not Equal to' 'No'
  2. To return all non-Test devices
    Leave the 'NOT' Criteria blank.
    Set 'Device - is Test' 'Equal to' 'No'
