Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with Support Pack 2 - 10.2
Situation
After migrating applications from ZDM 7 to ZCM and assigning to devices, zenworkswindowsservice.exe consumes large amounts of memory (for example: 1.2GB of RAM) on the managed devices with these bundle assignments. In some cases this can result in OutOfMemoryException.
Resolution
This is fixed in version 10.2.2 - see KB 7004803 "ZENworks 10 Configuration Management 10.2.2 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
Workaround for prior releases: For complex applications, deselect the "Migrate distribution options as individual actions" option. This will convert the AOT to MSI and not individual actions.
