NOWS-SBE2 Web Interface continuously shows busy checking for updates and never completes

Environment

Novell Open Workgroup Suite Small Business Edition (NOWS SBE) 2

Situation

Looking at the Simba Web Interface, the updates pane shows continuously busy, that the server is checking for updates, and never completes. Restarting the server has no affect on this.

Resolution

Check for the existance of the file "/var/lib/simba/sbs/conf/updating.txt" and remove this if the file is present.
