ZRS Admins lose rights to BOE folders

Environment

Situation

Randomly ZRS admins lose rights to some BOE folders.
and/or
Randomly ZRS can't be launched
ERROR (from zcc.log):
User source admins getting error All of your system's 30
Concurrent Access Licenses are in use at this time or your system's license key
has expired. Try again later or contact your administrator to obtain additional
licenses. (FWB 00014)
 

Resolution

This is fixed in version 11.2.1 - see KB 7010042 "ZENworks Configuration Management 11.21 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://support.microfocus.com/kb/doc.php?id=7010042
Workaround:
 
  1. Stop the zenmonitor and  zenloader process.
  2. Take a backup of SyncBOE.xml:
    %ZENworks_HOME%\conf\loader
    /etc/opt/novell/zenworks/loader
    to a folder outside of ZENworks.
  3. Delete the original file:  SyncBOE.xml.
    Now the sync between ZCM and ZRS will not happen by default.
  4. Restart the zenloader and zenmonitor and BOE services.
  5. Use ZCC to assign the rights to the Admin users 
  6. Run zman rpfs.
  7. If a new right is right is assigned to the user, do zman rpfs again.
