ZLM - catalina.out becomes very large

Environment

Novell ZENworks 7.2 Linux Management - ZLM7.2

Situation

/var/opt/novell/log/zenworks/tomcat/catalina.out can grow to a large size. There is no mechanism to limit its size

Resolution

This is fixed in ZLM 7.3 - see KB 3469853 "Updates to Novell ZENworks 7.2 Linux Management" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support

Additional Information

There is now a log4j.properties file under the path /etc/opt/novell/zenworks/ which is used to control the size of catalina.out
