Environment

Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with Support Pack 1 - 10.1

Situation

In some cases zenworkswindowsservice gpf on logout/login to Windows.

Resolution

In addition to the .net sp2 (see KB 7002315 at support.novell.com), Novell has seen several heap corruption issues addressed by the new splite3.dll.  For 32 bit devices with ZCM managed agent, try using the 32-bit version from the http://www.sqlite.org/download.html web site (sqlitedll-3_6_11.zip (http://www.sqlite.org/sqlitedll-3_6_11.zip ).

NOTE:  This download site does not include any 64 bit version of sqlite so do not apply to x64 managed devices.

Additional Information

In the case of sqllite crash, the gpf is due to heap corruption caused by sqllite.dll.   This would be seen while debugging the dmp file.
