Environment

Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with Support Pack 1 - 10.1

Situation

The ZENWORKSWINDOWSSERVICE.EXE crashes intermittently

Resolution

Update to MS .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 or Later
 
(Note: Not all sources of this service's crash are due to .NET and may be fixed by current or future ZCM patches.)
 

Additional Information

.NET Framework 2.0 SP2 is not currently available as a separate download.
Please Download and install .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 to obtain the latest .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 Software.
 
Also be sure to obtain the Post .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 updates found in KB 959209 which also includes updates for .NETFramework 2.0 SP2
 
Note:  check verion of mscorwks.dll for "2.0.50727.3053 " or later
