Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management
Situation
Desktop continually refreshes causing flashing desktop icons.
Resolution
This is fixed in version 10.1.3 - see KB 7002526 "ZENworks 10 Configuration Management 10.1.3" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
Additional Information
The problem is reproducible when any ZENworks icons are present on the desktop, and then an Internet Explorer based application is used to select a file from the desktop. For example, an application run inside Internet Explorer (gmail, etc.) brings up a file browse dialog box and user navigates to desktop to select a file. The presence of the ZENworks icon in the application's file browse dialog list triggers a constant NAL refresh.
