ZENloader service High utilization and server not processing queue actions due to corrupted message file

Environment

Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with Support Pack 1 - 10.1

Situation

zenloader service showing 100% utilization.  Queue actions such as content packaging, message cleanup etc. not being handled.

ERROR (from loader-messages.log):

MessageFilterProcessor.run() during reading the zipFile

The above error is repeated over and over using the same file name.  The actual filename (in this case: 1222467619-0000-84e46bfd16872047b5ab02c295c76470.zip) is specific to the server, but is consistent within the loader-mesages for this error.

Resolution

This is fixed in version 10.1.3 - see KB 7002526 "ZENworks 10 Configuration Management 10.1.3" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
