ZENworksUninstall fails when agent not running

Environment

Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management

Situation

In the GUI for ZENworksUninstall, "Primary server " shows as http://127.0.0.1.

Selecting local uninstall:

ERROR: "An internal error occurred during the uninstallation For more information, see the logs. C:\Program Files\Novell\ZENworks\logs\novell-zenworks-uninstall.log "

ERROR (from novell-zenworks-uninstall.log ):

ZENworksUninstall.UninstallException: The uninstall encountered an unexpected error. The uninstall preparation returned 1
at ZENworksUninstall.WindowsUninstaller.UninstallRefresh()
at ZENworksUninstall.ZENworksUninstallerSkeleton.Uninstall(Arguments args)

Resolution

This is fixed in version 10.1.3 - see KB 7002526 "ZENworks 10 Configuration Management 10.1.3" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
