zlm-ncc-reg does not take upper case letters in email address

Environment

Novell ZENworks 7.2 Linux Management - ZLM7.2

Situation

The zlm utility zlm-ncc-reg does not accept email addresses with upper case letters.  If the email address provided in the command line has an upper case letter the following error is thrown: "Please use a valid email id".

Resolution

To obtain access to a hot patch with the fix for this problem, follow the instructions in KB 3469853 "Updates to Novell ZENworks 7.2 Linux Management" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
