Package architecture unclear using ZEN installer on 64-bit systems

Environment

Novell ZENworks 7.2 Linux Management - ZLM7.2

Situation

When using ZEN installer on 64-bit systems, the package architecture is shown as "(i586)" for 32-bit packages, and no architecture is shown for 64-bit packages.

Resolution

To obtain access to a hot patch with the fix for this problem, follow the instructions in KB 3469853 "Updates to Novell ZENworks 7.2 Linux Management" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support


Additional Information

When this fix is applied, if it is a 32-bit package, the architecture will be in non-bold letters and if the package is a 64-bit package the architecture will be in Bold letters.
