Novell ZENworks 7.2 Linux Management - ZLM7.2
The issue was caused because of a corrupted zmd.db. Tried to connect to the zmd.db using sqlite3 client and found that on some of the select commands the client error with "SQL error: database disk image is malformed".
To obtain access to a hot patch with the fix for this problem, follow the instructions in KB 3469853 "Updates to Novell ZENworks 7.2 Linux Management" which can be found athttps://www.novell.com/support
Workaround, by deleting the zmd.db and then starting ZMD again the problem will be resolved.
An internal code change has been made to check for ZMD database errors and correct the problem upon loading database.
