Environment
Novell ZENworks
7.2 Linux Management - ZLM7.2
Situation
In ZLM 7.2 IR1 and below
the rug option "require-verified-certs" is
an all or none option: it either verifies the certificates to all
the subscribed services in rug, or it doesn't for all. Under some
conditions a company may choose to trust the certificates of all
ZLM internal servers, but still they'll need to have access to
external repositories (like update.novell.com, dell.com,
redhat.com, etc.) in a secure manner.
In order to accomplish this a new option in rug is needed: "no-verified-certs", which will verify certificates for these hosts listed under it if "require-verified-certs" is True.
