Bundle installation fails when a package lock is added to any of the installed packages

Environment

Novell ZENworks 7.2 Linux Management - ZLM7.2

Situation

After adding a lock to a package any attempts to install a bundle result in the following error:
ERROR: Child exited due to SIGIOT

Resolution

To obtain access to a hot patch with the fix for this problem, follow the instructions in KB 3469853 "Updates to Novell ZENworks 7.2 Linux Management" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support

Additional Information

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1] Add a lock to an already existing package:
rug la  = 
the package version should be entire package with the version that is being currenlty deployed on the system.
Eg: rug la oracle = oracle-instantclient-sqlplus-10.1.0.3-1

2] Create a package bundle.
3] rug bin  on the workstation containing the locked package
