Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management
Situation
XP workstations fail to register due to extended characters in the Common Name . In this case, WinXp Sp2(Chinese_simplified) + IE 6.0 Sp2 (Chinese_simplified) is being used. Chinese characters in either the "name" or "department" cause a failure in registration.
Resolution
This is fixed in version 10.0.3 - see KB 3486285 "Updates to ZENworks 10 Configuration Management" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
