Situation

Registering a workstation using an email address that contains uppercase letters in zlm-ncc-reg
ERROR: " Please use a valid email id"

Resolution

To obtain access to a hot patch with the fix for this problem, follow the instructions in KB 3469853 "Updates to Novell ZENworks 7.2 Linux Management" which can be found at Novell Support

Workaround:

Do not use uppercase letters in email address.

Acceptable registration:
zlm-ncc-reg ip address test@hotmail.com

Unacceptable:
zlm-ncc-reg ip address Test@hotmail.com
