Situation

After a device has had the ZENworks agent installed and the device is registered, a change in the device's static IP, subnet mask, and/or default gateway does not get stored in image safe data on Windows Vista machines.

Resolution

This is fixed in version 10.0.1 - see KB 3486285 "Updates to ZENworks 10 Configuration Management" which can be found athttps://www.novell.com/support

Additional Information

With Windows Vista, the imaging engine uses different registry entries for static IP Address than XP or 2000.
