Situation

Unable to get IP address when booting off ZENworks imaging bootcd.
Unable to image workstation containing ASUS P5GC-MX motherboard with onboard NIC.

Resolution

For ZDM7: To obtain access to a hot patch with the fix for this problem, follow the instructions in KB 3484245 "Updates to Novell ZENworks 7 Desktop Management" which can be found at Novell Support.


For ZLM7.2IR1: To obtain access to a hot patch with the fix for this problem, follow the instructions in KB 3469853 "Updates to Novell ZENworks 7.2 Linux Management" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
