zman asc fails for non root user on OES2

Environment

Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management

Situation

  1. Open a terminal in OES2 (don't log in as root).
  2. Type zman asc .
  3. Type the password.
  4. Type a command that needs admin rights (example: zman wl).
  5. It asks for admin name and password again--type them in.
  6. Type zman asc again.
ERROR: An internal error occurred. Please see the zman log for full stack trace.

Resolution

This is fixed in version 10.0.1 - see KB 3486285 "Updates to ZENworks 10 Configuration Management" which can be found athttps://www.novell.com/support
