Abend in MPKSCAN.NLM free_swinfo with GroupWise XIS10.NLM loaded

Environment

Novell ZENworks 7 Server Management Support Pack 1 - ZSM7 SP1 Inventory

Situation

While running software inventory, the server abends with a page fault processor exception eip set to 0.
The stack shows MPKSCAN.nlm free_swinfo +f68f.
XIS10.nlm is loaded instead of XMLPARSE.NLM.

Resolution

Fixed in ZENworks 7 Server Management Service Pack 1 Interim Release 3a, see KB 3809227 "Updates to Novell ZENworks 7 Server Management" which can be found at

Additional Information

The ZSM7 SP1 Hot patch 4 or later release of XLMPARSE.NLM has differently named functions to avoid the conflict.
For versions prior to the hot patch, confirm that XLMPARSE.NLM is loaded in ZFS address space, not XIS10.NLM which exports same functions
