ZENworks 10 Configuration Management
Situation
When the
60-day evaluation for ZCM expires, the next time you load ZCC
(ZENworks Control Center), a warning message is displayed like
this
and on the
configuration page you can see that the license is
expired
If you click
on one of the license links, you cannot enter a serial
number.
Resolution
This is
fixed in version 10.0.1 - see KB 3486285 "Updates to ZENworks 10
Configuration Management" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
As a
workaround, to enter the serial
number(s), you can use the zman utility on the
server (seeCommand Line
Utilities Reference in the online
documentation) like this:
zman
la "ZENworks Asset Management 10"
xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
zman la"ZENworks Configuration Management 10" xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
zman la"ZENworks Configuration Management 10" xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
zman
la "Asset Inventory for Unix/Linux"
xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
(note the
double quotes)
Use the
switch: zman license-info to view the licenses installed and the
name that is used in the quotes.
