Situation
How are the Home and Cell Phone numbers added for use in the
GroupWise System Address Book?
Resolution
In the GW address book, addresses in the system address book are
pulled from and modified in eDir (eDirectory). Personal and
frequent contact books are not stored in eDir, but in the
client database. Because of this, the only fields in
the system address book you will see populated are those that are
visible in eDir.
Solution 1
In ConsoleOne (or NWAdmin for NW 5x) Create custom fields in eDir for things like Users Home Phone, etc, then map them to GroupWise user defined fields. See KB 3741418 (How to create Admin defined Fields in the GroupWise Address books)
Solution 2
Create a Personal address book and share it with users that need access to it. This way, you have access to more fields by default.
