HP Operations Infrastructure Content Pack contains the following features, enhancements, and other changes.
HP Operations Infrastructure Content Pack version 8.11 contains the following updates:
Support for Infrastructure SPI 1.60: HP Operations Infrastructure Content Pack version 8.11 supports HP Operations Smart Plug-in for Infrastructure SPI 1.60.
Updated HI's, ETI's and Correlation Rules: New updates in Health Indicators, Event Type Indicators and Correlation Rules for System Infrastructure, Cluster Infrastructure and Virtual Infrastructure.
Infrastructure Content Pack 8.11 supports the following:
Infrastructure Content Pack 8.11 supports Operations Manager i version 8.10(OMi 8.10).
Installation requirements, as well as instructions for installing the Infrastructure Content Pack are documented in the HP Operations Manager i 8.10 Content Pack for Infrastructure provided in PDF (.pdf) format.
Before installing the Infrastructure Content Pack, make sure that your system meets the following minimum requirements:
The Infrastructure Content Pack 8.11 must be installed on a machine that already has OMi 8.10 installed and running.
This release contains certain unresolved problems, and there are workaround to help solve certain problems.
There are no ETI values set for normal severity events forwarded from the OSSPI-CD_Mem_Load policy.
Solution: Set the Message Key to <$MSG_NODE_NAME> <$NAME> <$INSTANCE> <END> in the start action of the condition OSSPI-CD_Mem_Load.4 of the OSSPI-CD_Mem_Load policy.
No ETI value is set for normal severity events forwarded from WINOSSPI-CpuBottleneck_Win2k, WINOSSPI-SysMon_PhysicalMemCheck, and WINOSSPI-SysMon_PageFileCheck policies.
Solution: Set the Message Key to <$MSG_NODE_NAME> <$NAME> <$INSTANCE> <END> in the end action of the WINOSSPI-CpuBottleneck_Win2k, WINOSSPI-SysMon_PhysicalMemCheck, and WINOSSPI-SysMon_PageFileCheck policies.
Solution: none.
