What's New in This Release?

The HP Data Protector Notebook Extension Agent is now supported on Windows 7 64-bit, Windows Vista 64-bit and Windows XP 64-bit platforms.

Installation Notes

Remove any previous versions of HP Data Protector Notebook Extension before you install the Agent software.

Full installation requirements, as well as instructions for installing Data Protector Notebook Extension, are documented in the Installation and administration guide provided in PDF (.pdf) format. You can find the guide on the product installation media at this location:

Updating Data Protector Notebook Extension from previous versions

Normally, the Administrator will update the HP Data Protector Notebook Extension Agent. See the Installation and administration guide.
