Why are the the Unix OS SPI policies not automatically deployed to a SuSe 10 system after the SuSe 10 system has been added as a managed node?
Error
After adding a new SuSe 10 managed node no Unix OS SPI policies were automatically deployed to the node. Why is this?
Cause
The reason why the Unix OS SPI (OSSPI) policies are not deployed is because although SuSe 10 is supported as a managed node operating system, the OSSPI (version B.03.15) as yet does not support SuSe 10 and as such the OSSPI policies will not be deployed to the node.
Fix
An enhancement request for SuSe 10 to be supported with OSSPI B.03.15 has been submitted and can be found in the knowledge base article: QXCR1000409232
