What's New in This Release?

For this release, HP Operations Dashboard is only intended to run in either the BEA WebLogic Portal 8.1 with SP 4 or the Jetspeed 2.1.1 portal environment. The Jetspeed 2.1.1 portal environment is provided with HP Operations Dashboard.

New Product Names

HP OpenView Dashboard is now HP Operations Dashboard. The products with which Operations Dashboard has integrations have also changed. For example, OVO for Windows is now HPOM for Windows. Due to these product name changes, product names in the documentation may temporarily differ from the names you see on the software.

Support Matrix

Enhancements and Fixes

Enhancements

1000424175: Service Browser Portlet throws a NULL Pointer Exception on startup.

1000377783: If multi-byte chars are included in OVO/W service descriptions, OVSN modules will not work due to missing service definitions.

1000370406: Generic module integration with Radia Reporting server does not work.

1000364574: When using certain versions of IIS, if the website   uses deflate compression, then the proxy fails to uncompress.

1000364662: With OVIS 6.10 and OVPM 6.x installed on the same management station, the integration to OVPM works, but the OVIS module fails and displays a java.util.NoSuchElementException.

1000366191: Fixes from SIP 3.2 8th aggregate patch need to be included in OPSView.

1000360241: Status of services do not show correctly in Service Graph portlet.

1000356632: Drilldown from SN portlets gives a null pointer exception.

1000364918: Fixes from SIP 3.2 7th aggregate patch need to be included in OPSView.

1000346190: Topology display inconsistent in SIP.

1000340051: Cannot print topomap or service graph images from IE.

1000352890: OVPI integration fails to display graphics with multiple instances on same page.
